  • What happens if we arrive late the day of our tour?
    Unfortunately, we have to start and finish at the designated times in order to avoid cutting into other clients’ time slots.
  • What happens if we arrive on the day of the shoot and we have additional people?
    You will need to go onto our website and add the additional adults to your party. The booking system will not allow you to make changes on the same day however changes can be made to the booking by going into the “Add Members” section of the website.
  • Where do we meet our photographer or videographer?
    Each location has a specific meeting spot, please check our website under "Locations" for more details.
  • How will we recognize the staff?
    Our staff will be wearing “Winks Photo Tours” t-shirts and/or jackets.
  • How do we get our pictures?
    All the pictures will be uploaded to our DropBox and a link will be emailed to you. We’ll need 3-5 business days to complete.
  • How do we get our videos?
    An MP4 movie will be uploaded to our DropBox and a link will be emailed to you. We’ll need 3-5 business days to complete.
  • How long will take to receive my video?
    An MP4 movie will be uploaded to DropBox and a link will be emailed to you. Please allow 3-5 business days for completion.
  • Emergency number?
    Our office line will be forwarded to a staff member for assistance after hours.
  • Can we extend our photo tour during on the same day of shooting?
    Unfortunately, photo tours may not be extended on the same day of shooting. You will need to go onto the website and book an additional session.
  • Do kids have a discount rate?
    With every single purchase of an adult fee, one child of 12 years of age or under is free.
  • Do you have staff that speak different languages?
    Yes. Select “translator” under our “tour options” and type in a specific language that you require.
  • Is the tour a per person or per group charge?
    All of our tour packages are based on a per person charge. However, discounted rates do apply when booking additional people and one child 12 and under is free with any adult purchase.
  • What should I wear to the tour?
    A few tips on what to wear on Winks Photo Tour. 1. Dress appropriately for the weather. 2. Ensure your clothing and shoes are comfortable. You will be walking for a fair bit of the tour. 3. If you are doing the tour with family and/or friends, try to coordinate colours. 4. Don't over accessorize. 5. Limit wearing patterns, characters and logos. They may distract from the photo. 6. Plan wardrobe, shoes and accessories in advance (bring a few different outfits, shoes and accessories for different looks – when booking tours of 2 or more hours).
  • How old do I need to be to book a tour?
    Anyone 18 years or older can book a tour. Valid photo ID is required.
  • How can I change my tour type
    Please send us an email at info@winksphototours.com and specify the tour type you would like to be change. A staff member will check availability and get back to you. Please note we allow one change per booking.
  • How can I change my tour date?
    If there is a change in your tour location, please cancel your booking online by email at info@winksphototours.com and revisit the “Book a Tour” page on our website and follow the steps in rebooking your tour with your desired new tour date within 48 hours of the original booking.
  • How can I change my tour location?

  • How do I add a tour bus option into my booking?
    If there is a change in your tour duration, please cancel your booking online by email at info@winksphototours.com and revisit the “Book A Tour” page on our website and follow the steps in rebooking your tour, then proceed to add a tour bus to your tour package.
  • How do I add a translator option into my booking?
    If there is a change in your tour duration, please cancel your booking online by email at info@winksphototours.com and revisit the “Book A Tour” page on our website and follow the steps in rebooking your tour, then proceed to add a translator to your tour package.
  • How can I cancel my booking?
    Please send us an email at info@winksphototours.com and our staff will process your request. Please note, a 48 hour notice is required. All refunds are subject to a 20% administration fee.
  • How can I recieve a refund?
    Refunds will be processed back onto the original method of payment. Please note that we require a 48 hour cancellation notice. All refunds are subject to a 20% administration fee.
  • How can I add to the amount of individuals attending the photo tour?
    If there is a change in the amount of individuals attending the photo tour, please visit the “Add a Member” page on our website and follow the steps in editing the desired amount of individuals.
  • How do I add video editing into my booking?
    If you would like to add video editing to your booking, please visit the “After Effects” page on our website and follow the steps in adding video editing.
  • How can I decrease my tour duration?
    If there is a change in your tour duration, please cancel your booking online by email at info@winksphototours.com and revisit the “Book A Tour” page on our website and follow the steps in rebooking your tour with your desired tour duration time.
  • I have a group of five friends, we’re all booking individually, how would we ensure that all the bookings would get grouped together so we can all go out with the same photographer/videographer?"
    Please ensure that if booking individually but want to be grouped together with the same photographer/videographer that when booking a tour everyone has entered the same group name into the “name of group”field as well as the total number of individuals into the field called “total number in your group”. This will allow our staff to keep you all together.
  • What happens if the weather is bad (isn’t cooperating) rain, cold, snow?"
    We will shoot in a lightrain, cold temperatures and/or snow. However, if we feel that conditions are extreme and it is not safe to be out, we will be forced to cancel. The appointment will then have to be rescheduled and in certain instances, a refund may occur. Please note, that if a cancellation is made at the customer’s request, a 48 hour notice is required and refund is subject to a 20% administration fee.
  • How can I reschedule due to bad weather?
    Please revisit the “Book A Tour” page on our website and follow the steps in booking your desired date.
  • Can I go to other locations that are not listed?
    Unfortunately, the locations are set. More locations are being added in the future.
  • Can we mix and match locations that are not listed on the website?
    No, we have paired locations based on distance, feasibility and time efficiencies. Many locations are distant from one another, which may take away from shooting time.
